REgional Truck Driving Championship
Dear Friends in the Trucking Industry,
The Council of Safety Professionals, San Antonio Region will be hosting our Annual Truck Driving Championships (TDC) on Friday April 4th and Saturday April 5th at Ben E. Keith Foods; 17635 Ben E. Keith Way, Selma, TX 78154.
This is the regional event, where the 1st, 2nd& 3rd place winners will advance to the Texas State Competition in June 2025.
We are a Charitable Organization who relies entirely on support from companies. With over one hundred professional drivers representing companies from areas all over South Texas, we count on everyone participating to provide equipment and volunteers. The donation of equipment, volunteers and sponsorship will provide an excellent opportunity to promote your organization.
There are nine classes of competition requiring straight trucks, step vans, single and dual tandem axle tractors, including a sleeper truck. Trailers needed are flatbed, single axle and tandem vans, doubles, and tankers. Equipment is needed for the course and for the pre-trip inspection. Volunteers are also needed as course judges for each obstacle. Training will be provided onsite for those who have never assisted with TDC. All volunteers are guaranteed to have fun!
A fantastic way to support the CSP-SAR and promote your company is through our Sponsorship Banner. Adding your company's name to the banner will cost $250. This large banner will be displayed at the event for all to see. March 24, 2025, is the cutoff date for getting your company’s name on the banner. Your sponsorship and support are appreciated. In addition, we will gladly accept donations in the form of door prizes.
Please return your Driver’s Application as early as you can. Our cutoff date for accepting these applications is March 24, 2025. The entry fee is $100.00 per driver. Each entry should contain the following documents:
A. ATA Entry and Release Form
B. ATA Driver Information Form
C. Recent copy of the Drivers MVR (within 90 days of the event)

We strive to create an enjoyable event for all involved, our volunteers, sponsors, our professional drivers, and their families. Each company will be required to provide a tractor and/or trailer to be utilized during the competition as well as a volunteer to serve as a judge. Drivers whose companies do not provide equipment and volunteer judges will not be allowed to compete. Please let us know, at your earliest convenience, the equipment you can donate/loan for the competition and how many volunteers your company can provide.
